It’s RVA, baby!
We’re not just a city, we’re a destination! Come see why Richmond is worth your weekend at one of the city’s most beloved festivals. Dominion Energy Riverrock takes place along our urban riverfront at Brown’s Island and Historic Tredegar Iron Works. Walk along the T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge, take in the kayaking competition, and then continue on to the other side to explore the southside of the mighty James River. When you’re not experiencing the festival, check out Richmond’s elite restaurant scene, take in our colorful street art, or stop and grab a beer from one of our dozens of craft breweries!
About Historic Tredegar
The Tredegar Iron Works was one of the nation’s largest and best-equipped iron works in 1860.
At its height, this industrial powerhouse employed Richmond’s largest industrial working force, approximately 800 free and slave laborers – a figure exceeded by only three other iron works in the United States. Today, Historic Tredegar is operated by the private not-for-profit American Civil War Museum in partnership with the Richmond National Battlefield Park of the National Park Service.
