Speed Comp
Skilled climbers will compete head to head in a fast action race to the top. This high energy event will have spectators ooh-ing and ahh-ing!
Cost & Registration
This is an event for experienced climbers. Applications have closed for the 2024 event .There is NO onsite registration
Participants must be at least 14 years old to participate.
Through March 14: $40
March 15 – April 25: $45
April 26– May 13: $50
May 14– May 19: $60
* Please note that once we have 20 climbers in each division we will not be able to accept additional entries.
Includes: a cool event t-shirt and a post-competition drink ticket*.
*Drink ticket must be used during normal festival hours
Entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable, even in the case of a race cancellation and/or if you are unable to participate.
Packet Pick Up
You must pick you your packet before the start of your event. Bib numbers must be worn in order to access the Start Area of all events. A Photo ID is required to pick you your packet. You may pick up a packet for another pre-registered participant, provided you have a copy of their photo ID.
Competition Format
Competitors will start side by side within one of our two bouldering caves, competing on mirror-image routes to the top. Once the timer announces the start, the race is on. The competition will consist of two qualifying rounds, of one route each, with the top 10 fastest climbers moving on to Final Round 1*. The top 6 fastest from Finals 1 will compete in the fourth and final round: Finals Round 2 immediately following the previous round.
*Cumulative times from Q1 and Q2 will determine the 10 climbers that move on to Finals Round 1.

Awards
Prize money will be awarded to the top climbers in each division.
