Home On the James by the RHODA Project Film Screening & Panel

A Powerful Portrait of Life Along the James

Settle in for a powerful short film from the RHODA Project and Home on the James, capturing the rhythm, beauty, and spirit of life along the James River. Filmed over multiple seasons, the piece highlights the paddlers, the falls, and the deep connection Richmonders share with this remarkable urban waterway.

“This film is about finding yourself on the river and exploring this magical backyard that we have. It’s good to be home — home on the James,” share the creators.

The film is supported by Aqua Fauna Ponds, Waterfront RVA, Whitten Brothers, and a talented community of local paddlers and videographers.
