Featuring
Trail Kids RVA
Trail Kids RVA works to provide free community-led group hikes and outdoor activities for Richmond region families, while fostering connections between families, local organizations, and businesses that are aligned with their goals and values.
Homegirl Hike
Homegirl Hike is a community-centered walking and hiking group dedicated to making movement accessible, enjoyable, and empowering for women of all fitness levels. Founded by Tae Waddey, the group encourages long-term wellness through connection, consistency, and outdoor adventure — creating a supportive space where women can build confidence, improve their health, and find community along the way.
Beyond Boundaries
Beyond Boundaries works with individuals of all abilities and from diverse backgrounds in one of the most challenging and exhilarating fields—outdoor adventure. Over the years, the organization has witnessed firsthand the powerful impact of the inclusive environment it fosters. Beyond Boundaries believes that the more people adventure together, the stronger and more connected the community becomes.
Location
The Foundry
Set within the beautifully restored brick walls of Tredegar Iron Works and just steps from the American Civil War Museum, The Foundry blends Richmond’s industrial past with a refined modern feel. This historic space has been thoughtfully reimagined as a versatile event venue, offering a distinctive setting rooted in the city’s rich heritage. During the festival, it transforms into a vibrant marketplace featuring makers, vendors, and nonprofits showcasing their work, while also serving as the home of the Riverside Chats speaker series.
