Outdoor yoga on a weekend morning by the river is just what the yogi ordered.

Become one with nature while you work on your flexibility and core strength. Yoga is for everybody and every body, not just the super flexible. The class is a mixed-level flow and great for beginner to advanced practitioners, but we do ask that you have taken at least a class or two before showing up! This party is BYOM (bring your own mat) because no one wants grass stains on their palms from doing downward dog!

About the Class

Flow like the river! This vinyasa flow practice will link postures through breath and movement and will align the body, mind and spirit, leaving you feeling great.  Students are encouraged to participate at the pace and level that is appropriate for them, taking modifications as necessary. This class is for everyone, and is especially useful to those athletes participating in the many challenging Dominion Energy Riverrock events! Please bring your mat, water, and a towel. Sunscreen and sunglasses are recommended as well.

Meet The Instructor : Holly Zajur

Holly Zajur is dedicated to sharing the benefits of yoga as an E-RYT 200 hr yoga instructor. Holly completed her 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification at Sadhana Yoga School in 2014.  Holly studied at the University of Virginia and graduated with an interdisciplinary double major in Arts Administration and Global Development Studies. Currently, Holly works as the Communications Manager at Project Yoga Richmond, serves as an Ambassador at PYR, and teaches ceramics at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond. Holly also enjoys running; her physical practice and teaching style focuses on the ways yoga can support runners, artists, and the community at large. She is passionate about creating supportive community environments, which she also emphasizes in her classes.
